1 Dead in 18-Wheeler crash on Interstate 45 [Dallas, TX]

Dallas, TX (April 18, 2025) –  A person was fatally injured following an 18-wheeler crash on Interstate 45 early Thursday morning.

The fatal vehicle crash happened around 7:30 a.m. on the northbound lanes of the freeway at Simpson Stuart Road in the SE Oak Cliff area.

Officers said a sedan was also involved in the collision.

Responding officers detoured all traffic to the service road at Simpson Stuart.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the fatal crash.
