1 Killed and 2 Hurt in San Diego Accident on Highway 94

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 29, 2020) – Early Saturday morning, one person died, and two others suffered injuries in a head-on crash on Highway 94 in Dulzura.
 
The crash occurred at 6:35 a.m. on Highway 94 near Community Building Road, the Cal Fire revealed. Furthermore, an air ambulance airlifted one victim to a hospital, while medics transported the other by ground ambulance.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a car drove off the side of the road. Then, the vehicle fell around 50 feet down an embankment. As a result, the vehicle was totaled.
 
The crash led authorities to close both directions of Highway 94 for several hours while crews worked at the scene. However, the highway reopened to traffic at 11:30 a.m.
