1 Dead Another injured in DUI crash on Rucker Avenue [Everett, WA]

Everett, WA (August 24, 2025) – A man died and another was injured in a DUI crash on Rucker Avenue early Saturday morning.

It was around 2:30 a.m. when the collision happened at the 4300 block area, near 44th Street.

Officer there has been a DUI suspicion stop at West Marilyn Avenue and Evergreen Way, wherein the fled northbound on Evergreen Way and turned into Rucker Avenue. 

The chase stretched around four miles and the car then crashed onto a building.

There were two adult male occupants in the vehicle during the collision. One them was declared dead at the scene, while the other was rushed to the hospital in stable condition.

Troopers did not which man was driving or the  passenger. 

WSP officers said their troopers did not collide with the fleeing vehicle, though, it has not been confirmed if any trooper was injured during the pursuit.
