NEWARK, CA (August 18, 2022) – Late Tuesday night, a person died in a head-on crash on Highway 84 near Thornton Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 10:25 p.m. on westbound Highway 84 east of Thornton Avenue.
Reports revealed that the wrong-way crash involved a sedan and an SUV.
