1 Dead in Multi-Vehicle Crash Near Lucretia Avenue [San Jose, CA]

San Jose, CA (April 21, 2026) – A person was fatally injured following a multi-vehicle crash near Lucretia Avenue Friday morning.

The deadly multi-vehicle collision happened around 11:56 a.m. near Story Road. 

According to the accident report, a silver vehicle was weaving in and out of traffic struck a Tesla near Happy Hollow Park and Zoo.

Afterward, the same vehicle also struck three more cars near Lucretia Avenue.

The San Jose Police Department officers responded and declared one person dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, troopers closed lanes for several hours during the investigation.
