Lynwood, CA (May 7, 2025) – A person was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Long Beach Blvd Sunday midnight.

The fatal traffic collision happened at the intersection with Imperial Highway.

Responding officers located the victim dead in the middle of the street. They said an unknown object that looks like a part of a kid’s scooter post was found next to the victim.

Police said it is possible that the pedestrian was in the crosswalk and was thrown to the location after being hit.

Meanwhile, the authorities are still investigating and said that there is no available vehicle description at this time.
