1 Person Dead in Phoenix Auto Accident on 35th Avenue and Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway

PHOENIX, AZ (November 15, 2025) – Thursday morning, Vicente Castellanos Rodriguez died in a fatal vehicle crash on 35th Avenue.

The incident happened at around 5:15 a.m. on the 35th Avenue on-ramp to the westbound Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a vehicle struck 64-year-old Vicente Castellanos Rodriguez, who was crossing the roadway to a construction work area.

Moreover, responders rushed Rodriguez to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, officers said that Rodriguez was an employee with a construction company assigned to work on the Loop 101.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the DPS continued investigating the crash.
