Driver Hospitalized After Three-Vehicle Crash on Lomas Blvd NE in Albuquerque

Albuquerque, NM (April 28, 2025) – One driver was hurt and hospitalized in a three-vehicle crash on Lomas Blvd NE.

At approximately 4:35 PM, an officer with the Albuquerque Police Department reported a crash involving three vehicles—including an APD cruiser—near the intersection of Lomas Blvd NE and Carlisle Blvd NE.

Initially, everyone involved in the crash, including the officer, stated they had not sustained any injuries. 

However, by around 4:45 PM, one of the drivers began feeling unwell and requested transportation to a nearby hospital. Albuquerque Fire and Rescue responded to the scene to assist.

At the time of the incident, APD officers and Police Service Aides (PSAs) had blocked all southbound lanes of Carlisle north of Lomas.
