COVELO, CA (December 11, 2025) – Tuesday night, an alarming 2-vehicle crash on Tabor Lane and Little Lake Way injured 1 person.

The incident involving two vehicles happened at about 1:11 p.m. on Tabor Lane and Little Lake Way.

The CHP said two patients were involved.

At 1:30 p.m., REACH 35 reported they were 17 minutes away and cleared to land at the scene.

One patient had a major back injury and was expected to be flown out. The second patient, initially believed to have minor injuries, is now thought to have a finger fracture and is likely being taken by ground ambulance to Howard Hospital Code 2.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
