PHOENIX, AZ (May 19, 2025) – Saturday night, an alarming pedestrian crash near 27th Avenue and Indian School Road injured a man.

The incident occurred at 10:30 p.m. near 27th Avenue and Indian School Road.

According to reports, a vehicle struck and critically injured a man. Meanwhile, police said that the crash involved two vehicles, and both of them remained at the scene.

Reports said that a female driver of one of the vehicles sustained injuries. She was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, the other driver, a man, was being investigated for a DUI after showing signs of impairment.

“Charging decisions related to this incident are pending toxicology and accident reconstruction,” police said.
