Police Investigate Crash at West County Road 40 and FM 1788 in Midland
MIDLAND, TX (May 8, 2026) — One person was injured after a crash at West County Road 40 and FM 1788, requiring an emergency vehicle extraction.
According to a post from the Midland Fire Department, the collision happened at West County Road 40 and Farm-to-Market Road 1788.
Fire crews responded to the scene and found one person trapped inside a vehicle. Emergency personnel extracted the victim from the car and transported them to Midland Memorial Hospital for treatment.
