Galt, CA (August 14, 2025) – One person sustained injuries in a crash on Ayers Lane and Carol Drive.

A crash involving two vehicles occurred Thursday morning in Galt, according to officials. 

Emergency medical services responded around 6:26 a.m. to the intersection of Ayers Lane and Carol Drive.

When officers from the Galt Police Department arrived, they found a man lying on the ground after being ejected from a pickup truck involved in the collision.

First responders transported him to a nearby hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

Investigators determined that the pickup truck was traveling at a high speed when its driver failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with another vehicle that was turning in the intersection. 

The impact caused the pickup to go airborne and land on its side.

Police confirmed that drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
