One Hospitalized After Three-Vehicle Crash on The Old Road in Stevenson Ranch

STEVENSON RANCH, CA (June 24, 2026)— One person went to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon after a three-vehicle crash on The Old Road in Stevenson Ranch left a person trapped inside a vehicle.

The crash happened at about 12:06 p.m. near The Old Road and Stevenson Ranch Parkway, according to California Highway Patrol incident logs.

Based on the initial investigation, a black Kia was attempting to turn across The Old Road into a shopping center when another vehicle struck it, according to Officer Glauser of the CHP Newhall Area Office.

The impact caused the Kia to hit a third vehicle.

The Kia overturned and came to rest on its side, blocking the sidewalk. One person became trapped inside the vehicle.

Emergency responders transported one person to a hospital as a precaution because of a recent spinal surgery, according to Greg Berger, a firefighter-paramedic with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“They’re being transported just because of a recent spinal surgery, about two months ago, just for precautionary reasons, and that’s just follow-up,” Berger said.

Authorities continue to investigate the exact circumstances of the crash.

Protecting Your Rights After a Multi-Vehicle Crash in Stevenson Ranch

A multi-vehicle crash can be overwhelming, especially when a vehicle overturns, and someone becomes trapped inside.

Even when emergency responders describe a hospital transport as precautionary, the stress and physical impact of a collision can still affect a person’s health, mobility, and peace of mind.

Sweet Lawyers sends sincere support to the person transported after this Stevenson Ranch crash and hopes for a full and steady recovery.

Crashes involving multiple vehicles often require careful investigation. Determining fault may involve reviewing traffic patterns, vehicle positions, turn movements, driver statements, witness accounts, roadway markings, surveillance footage, and collision damage.

When one vehicle is attempting to turn, and another vehicle strikes it, questions may arise about right-of-way, speed, visibility, signaling, and whether all drivers acted with reasonable care.

Injured victims should take their medical condition seriously after any crash. Prior injuries or recent surgeries can make a collision more concerning, even when symptoms initially appear manageable. Pain, stiffness, nerve issues, headaches, and back or neck discomfort may develop or worsen after the adrenaline fades.

Medical documentation can help connect injuries and complications to the crash and provide a clearer picture of the recovery process.

Insurance companies may contact crash victims quickly, but injured people should be cautious before giving recorded statements or accepting early settlement offers.

A fast offer may not account for follow-up care, missed work, ongoing pain, physical therapy, vehicle damage, or future medical needs.
