Injuries Reported in Grand Junction Auto Accident on North Avenue and 12th Street

GRAND JUNCTION, CO (June 30, 2025) – Saturday night, a person suffered injuries in an alarming 2-vehicle crash on North Avenue and 12th Street.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 7:10 p.m. on North Avenue and 12th Street.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department, officers determined that a vehicle traveling eastbound on North Avenue ran a red light and collided with a second vehicle.

The driver of the second vehicle was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.

GJPD said alcohol is being considered as a possible factor in the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
