Police Investigate Power Outage After Crash on West Corporate Drive in Lewisville
LEWISVILLE, TX (June 7, 2026) — One person was injured Sunday after a major crash on West Corporate Drive and Camelot Drive that also brought down power lines.
Lewisville police said the crash happened Sunday afternoon in the area of W. Corporate Drive and Camelot Drive.
The collision knocked down power lines and forced officials to shut down nearby roads while emergency crews worked to secure the scene.
Authorities urged drivers to avoid the area as police, utility crews, and emergency responders continued working at the crash site.
Officials have not yet said how many vehicles were involved or what caused the collision.
Police confirmed that one person was injured. Authorities did not immediately say whether the injured person was taken to a hospital.
Texas-New Mexico Power estimated around 3 p.m. that power restoration could take 8 to 10 hours, leaving hundreds of customers potentially without power until after midnight.
