One Person Hospitalized After Rollover Crash on Interstate 25 in Albuquerque

Albuquerque, NM (July 25, 2025) – One person sustained injuries in a crash on Interstate 25 on Friday morning.

Albuquerque Fire Rescue extricated a person from a rollover crash on I-25 Friday morning after responding to the scene around 8 a.m. in the southbound lanes.

Upon arrival, crews stabilized the overturned vehicle and removed the sunroof to access the individual. 

The person was trapped beneath the steering wheel, which rescuers had to remove in order to free them. 

Emergency responders then transported the individual to the University of New Mexico Hospital. 

Officials have not released the person’s condition.
