1 Person Hospitalized After Crash on US 60 in Westview
Westview, Mo (January 30, 2025) – At around 5:15 p.m. Thursday, a two-vehicle crash on US 60 injures one person.
Once a bustling area, the community now sees fewer residents but significantly heavier highway traffic moving at high speeds.
Emergency responders, including the Seneca Rural Fire Department, Newton County Deputies, and Newton County Ambulance, arrived at the scene. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was also notified.
One person was transported to a Joplin-area hospital with non-emergency injuries. Doug’s Towing removed one of the vehicles involved.
Authorities are expected to release additional details, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
