Injuries Reported in Loleta Motorcycle Accident on US Highway 101 and Fernbridge Drive

LOLETA, CA (August 12, 2025) – Monday afternoon, a startling motorcycle crash on US Highway 101 and Fernbridge Drive injured 1 person.

The incident happened at around 1:31 p.m. on the southbound onramp to U.S. Highway 101 at Fernbridge Drive, exit 691.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s Traffic Incident Information Page, the crash happened near the yield sign at Fernbridge Drive and Eel River Drive. Scanner reports indicated the rider struck a curb before going down.

Emergency crews responded, and medical personnel arrived at the scene. The rider was transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance. He was reportedly conscious and had abrasions but no visible signs of severe trauma at first.

Later, the CHP updated its report to state the motorcyclist had sustained major injuries.
