LYNWOOD, CA (February 26, 2026) – Tuesday, a person sustained injuries in a startling vehicle crash on 105 Freeway near Long Beach Boulevard.

The incident occurred at about midnight on 105 Freeway near Long Beach Boulevard off-ramp, said the California Highway Patrol.

Authorities reported that a vehicle went off the westbound side of the freeway, landing on top of other cars.

At least one person sustained minor injuries. SoCal Edison responded to the scene to address damaged power lines.

Video from the crash shows what appears to be a nitrous oxide tank, though investigators have not confirmed it.
