Tempe Car Accident Sends One to Hospital After Two-Vehicle Crash on West Baseline Road in Tempe

TEMPE, AZ (December 16, 2025) — A two-vehicle crash on West Baseline Road involving a Tempe police officer sent one person to the hospital early Monday morning, authorities confirmed.

The accident occurred near the 1300 block of West Baseline Road. According to Tempe police, a private vehicle was exiting a driveway and entered the roadway when it collided with a marked police cruiser traveling eastbound.

Emergency responders transported the civilian driver to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The officer did not report any injuries at the scene.

Officials have not released the identities of those involved, and the crash remains under investigation.
