1 Killed in Airport Freeway Hit-and-Run Crash [Richland Hills, TX]

Richland Hills, TX (May 18, 2024) – A pedestrian was killed following an Airport Freeway hit-and-run crash Thursday night.

It was about 8:45 p.m. when the fatal crash happened at the 8600 block area near the NE Loop 820 split.

Officers said the pedestrian was hit and the driver drove away.

Immediately, the medical team rushed the victim to Cook Children’s Medical Center, where they succumbed to their injuries.
