1 Person Dead After T-Bone Crash on Kyrene Road in Chandler

Chandler, AZ (December 26, 2024) – One person died in a t-bone crash on Kyrene Road.

A crash in Chandler early Thursday afternoon claimed one life. Around 2:30 p.m., a Ford pickup truck and an Infiniti sedan collided in a T-bone crash near Kyrene Road and Del Rio Street, just south of Ray Road.

Chandler Fire officials reported that one person sustained extremely critical injuries and was transported to the hospital, while another individual suffered minor injuries and also received medical attention.

The person in critical condition later succumbed to their injuries, according to police. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.

Investigators are continuing to determine the events that led to the collision. Additional details have not yet been made available.
