1 Dead in Denton Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 35W near Vintage Boulevard

DENTON, TX (April 2, 2025) – Tuesday afternoon, a person died in a brutal multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 35W near Vintage Boulevard.

The crash involving an RV and six other vehicles occurred at about 3:30 p.m. on Interstate 35W near Vintage Boulevard.

The crash led to the closure of the northbound lanes. 

“Seven people were transferred to the hospital, and unfortunately, we can confirm one was deceased on arrival,” said the Denton Police Department. “… Four vehicles and an RV were involved in the immediate crash, and two other vehicles sustained damage.”

Meanwhile, the authorities urged motorists to look for alternate routes. 

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
