1 Dead in Williams Auto Accident on Interstate 40 near Ash Fork

WILLIAMS, AZ (November 18, 2025) – Monday, a person died in a brutal rollover crash on Interstate 40 near Ash Fork.

The incident happened on westbound Interstate 40 near milepost 153, in between Williams and Ash Fork.

The crash led authorities to close the westbound lanes. By 6:45 p.m. Monday, the lanes had reopened.

Two injured children were airlifted from the scene and taken to a hospital. Their conditions were not yet available.

ADOT has not released further details about the rollover, including the identities of those involved or what may have caused it.
