Mother and Her Two Infants Hospitalized After 2-Vehicle Crash on Jensen and Goldenrod Avenues 

Fresno, CA (September 29, 2024) – On Sunday, one person died, and three others sustained injuries in a crash on Jensen and Goldenrod Avenues.

The two-vehicle collision occurred shortly before noon at the intersection of Jensen and Goldenrod Avenues.

CHP’s preliminary investigation reveals that a driver, identified only as a Hispanic male in his 30s or 40s, was driving a white Toyota Tundra when he ran a stop sign. 

His vehicle was then struck on the passenger side by another vehicle.

The driver of the Toyota pickup was pronounced dead at the scene, and no one else was in the vehicle with him. 

The other vehicle involved was carrying three passengers—a mother and her two infants, approximately 1-2 years old.

The two infants sustained minor injuries, while their mother suffered minor to moderate injuries. All three were taken to the hospital before CHP arrived at the scene.

According to officials, both vehicles rolled several times during the crash. 

CHP stated that alcohol is not suspected as a factor, and the speeds of the vehicles remain unknown.
