1 Person Killed in Devastating BMW Crash on 210 Freeway

1 Dead in Irwindale Auto Accident on 210 Freeway and Irwindale Avenue

IRWINDALE, CA (July 21, 2026) – Monday morning, a person died in a devastating BMW crash on 210 Freeway and Irwindale Avenue.

Authorities said a white BMW sedan struck a K-rail, damaged approximately 200 feet of guardrail, and overturned onto the right shoulder embankment west of Irwindale Avenue.

The crash was reported at about 1:55 a.m. One person was pronounced dead at the scene.

A news videographer reported that a second person was inside the vehicle, but that individual’s condition was not immediately known.

CHP temporarily closed the slow lane while investigating the crash, though traffic continued to move through the remaining lanes.
