VALLEJO, CA (August 2, 2026) – Thursday, a woman died in a devastating car crash on Broadway Street and Mahogany Drive.

The incident happened on Broadway Street and Mahogany Drive in Vallejo.

According to the Vallejo Police Department, a woman died after being struck in a crash involving multiple parked vehicles.

Police said the woman suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital, where she later died.

Investigators said the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Another person who was sitting inside a legally parked vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

Preliminary information indicates the vehicle was traveling west on Tuolumne Street when it entered the intersection with Broadway Street and Mahogany Drive, left the roadway, struck multiple parked vehicles, and fatally hit the pedestrian.

Police said alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been factors. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
