1 Dead in Sugar Creek Auto Accident on N Cement City Road

SUGAR CREEK, MO (June 29, 2025) – Friday night, a person died in a devastating car crash on N Cement City Road.

The incident occurred at about 9:45 p.m. on N Cement City Road.

A 21-year-old man from Kansas City, Missouri, was killed in a two-vehicle crash after his Honda Accord was struck on the driver’s side by a Chrysler 300, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred when the man was driving east on N Cement City Road and reportedly went through a yield sign as a 54-year-old woman from Oak Grove was traveling southbound on Route 291. The impact sent both vehicles off the road and into the median.

The Kansas City man was pronounced dead at the scene. A 19-year-old male passenger in the Honda sustained serious injuries and was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center.

The Oak Grove woman was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Authorities reported that both vehicles were totaled in the crash.
