1 Person Killed in Horrific 3-Vehicle Crash on Airport Road

1 Dead in Temple Multi-Vehicle Accident on Airport Road and Westfield Boulevard

TEMPLE, TX (June 10, 2026) – Tuesday afternoon, a person died in a horrific 3-vehicle crash on Airport Road and Westfield Boulevard.

The incident happened at about 2:58 p.m. on Airport Road and Westfield Boulevard.

Authorities arrived to find a three-vehicle crash.

A preliminary investigation indicates that one of the vehicles crossed the center line into oncoming traffic and collided with two other vehicles.

Two people were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Another individual was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Larry Wilkey.

Police said the Temple Police Department Traffic Reconstruction Unit would remain at the scene for several hours. Traffic was being diverted to Research Parkway and Westfield Boulevard, and motorists were encouraged to use alternate routes.
