1 Dead in Thurston County Hit-and-Run Accident on Bald Hill Road

THURSTON COUNTY, WA (April 13, 2023) – Early Wednesday, 1 person died in a horrific motorcycle crash on Bald Hill Road.

The incident involving a car and a motorcycle happened at about 2:15 a.m. Moreover, it occurred in the 12900 block of Bald Hill Road Southeast.

According to reports, a 911 reporter heard the crash from their home. Then, they located the rider down and unresponsive. Also, the motorcyclist succumbed to injuries at the scene.

Meanwhile, the involved driver got into another vehicle and fled south on Bald Hill Road SE.

Also, the evidence determined that the driver of the Volkswagen Golf was entering a curve in the roadway. As they crossed over the centerline into the northbound lane, they struck the motorcyclist. Since the driver left the car at the scene, officers impounded it for evidence.
