DALLAS, TX (October 15, 2025) – Monday night, a person died in a horrific pedestrian crash on Interstate 35 near Continental Avenue.

The incident happened on the northbound Interstate 35 near Continental Avenue, said the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities shut down the northbound lanes of I-35 and diverted traffic following the incident.

It’s not yet clear what led to the crash. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said the driver who struck the pedestrian stopped at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
