TEMPLE, TX (January 27, 2026) – Monday afternoon, a person died in a horrific rollover crash near Highway 317 and Airport Road.

The incident happened at about 3:24 p.m. near Highway 317 and Airport Road.

Temple Police responded to a crash where a white SUV rolled over after leaving the roadway near Airport Road on northbound Highway 317 and flipped into a ditch.

One person was pronounced dead, and no other injuries have been reported.
