Woman Killed in Horrific Vehicle Crash on Interstate 64

1 Dead in Town and Country Auto Accident on Interstate 64 and Route 141

TOWN AND COUNTRY, MO (February 17, 2026) – Sunday night, an 18-year-old woman died in a horrific vehicle crash on Interstate 64 and Route 141.

The incident occurred at around 9:10 p.m. on the westbound Interstate 64 and Route 141.

The crash report revealed that a 2018 Audi S4 was traveling too fast for road conditions when it began to slide, overturn, and struck a median barrier. The Audi then crossed into the eastbound lanes and collided with a 2019 Jeep Compass before leaving the roadway and hitting an embankment.

The Audi’s driver, a 17-year-old boy from Chesterfield, and his passenger, an 18-year-old woman also from Chesterfield, were taken to the hospital by ambulance. The passenger was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The driver remained hospitalized with serious injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

Troopers said the passenger who died was not wearing a seatbelt.

Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
