1 Dead in Pilot Point Auto Accident on FM 445 E and FM 1385

PILOT POINT, TX (July 8, 2026) – Monday, a person died in a brutal 2-vehicle crash on FM 445E and FM 1385.

The incident involving two vehicles happened just after noon on FM 445 E and FM 1385.

According to the Pilot Point Police Department, a driver traveling northbound on FM 1385 failed to yield to an eastbound vehicle, resulting in a crash.

One of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver was transported to a hospital for treatment. Police said that the driver’s passengers did not suffer serious injuries.
