1 Dead in Sugar Land Auto Accident on Highway 6 near Imperial Boulevard

SUGAR LAND, TX (December 18, 2025) – Tuesday night, a person died in a brutal 2-vehicle crash on Highway 6 near Imperial Boulevard.

The incident involving two vehicles happened at about 8:15 p.m. on Highway 6 near Imperial Boulevard.

Authorities said one vehicle was traveling southbound on Highway 6 when it crossed the median into the northbound lanes and collided with a pickup truck.

The female driver of the southbound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. Three people who were inside the pickup truck were taken to a hospital for treatment. Their conditions have not been released.

Investigators have not said what caused the driver to cross into oncoming traffic.

The crash remains under investigation.
