Driver Killed in Brutal 3-Vehicle Crash on Adobe Road

1 Dead in Petaluma Multi-Vehicle Accident on Adobe Road and Frates Road

PETALUMA, CA (January 25, 2026) – Friday morning, a driver died in a brutal 3-vehicle crash on Adobe Road and Frates Road.

The incident involving three vehicles happened at about 5:49 a.m. on Adobe Road, east of Frates Road.

The driver of a Honda CR-V crossed over double-yellow lines, according to the California Highway Patrol. The Honda sideswiped a white Chevy Silverado traveling in the opposite direction before crashing head-on into a black Toyota Camry.

The driver of the Honda suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, CHP said.

The Toyota driver was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with major but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Chevy sustained minor injuries.

The identity of the deceased has not been released. CHP is asking anyone with information about the crash to contact investigators.
