1 Dead in Kerman Traffic Crash on Goldenrod Avenue and Belmont Avenue

KERMAN, CA (August 28, 2025) – Tuesday afternoon, a brutal auto accident on Goldenrod Avenue and Belmont Avenue killed 1 person.

The incident occurred at about 5:00 p.m. on Goldenrod Avenue and Belmont Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol said a Nissan Sentra, driven by an unidentified man, was heading north on Goldenrod Avenue when the driver failed to stop at the Belmont Avenue stop sign. The car was struck by a Toyota Tundra traveling west on Belmont, which had the right of way.

The impact forced both vehicles off the road, where they came to rest in a field.

The Nissan driver was taken to Community Regional Medical Center and later pronounced dead. The pickup driver suffered minor injuries.

CHP said alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
