CHULA VISTA, CA (August 5, 2025) – Monday afternoon, a brutal bicycle crash on Moss Street killed 1 person.

The incident happened at about 12:44 p.m. at the Moss Street grade crossing.

A bicyclist was killed after being hit by a northbound MTS trolley, transit officials confirmed.

The crash caused delays on the UC San Diego Blue Line, but service later returned to normal, according to MTS.
