MESA, AZ (October 7, 2025) – Sunday morning, a person died in a brutal motorcycle crash on Sossaman Road and Ulysses Avenue.

The incident involving two motorcycles happened just before 10:00 a.m. on Sossaman Road and Ulysses Avenue, near Mesa Gateway Airport.

One motorcycle rider was pronounced dead, and another was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Mesa Police Department.

Detectives are investigating the cause of the crash and are working to notify the victim’s next of kin.
