1 Dead in Fresno Auto Accident on Maple Avenue and Gettysburg Avenue

FRESNO, CA (July 14, 2026) – Monday noon, a person died in a brutal rear-end crash on Maple Avenue and Gettysburg Avenue.

The incident happened just before noon at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Gettysburg Avenue.

Police said one person was killed in a crash after a white Ford F-150 rear-ended a black passenger vehicle.

The driver of the black car was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers confirmed that the driver of the Ford F-150 was transported to a hospital. Their condition has not been released.

Two parked vehicles along Gettysburg Avenue were also struck in the collision.

Moreover, the crash scattered debris across the roadway and prompted a road closure while investigators processed the scene.
