1 Person Killed in Brutal Vehicle Crash on Highway 41

1 Dead in Kings County Auto Accident on Highway 41 near Quebec Avenue

KINGS COUNTY, CA (April 21, 2026) – Friday night, a person died in a brutal vehicle crash on Highway 41 near Quebec Avenue.

The incident happened at about 4:50 p.m. in the area of Highway 41, north of Quebec Avenue.

Investigators with the California Highway Patrol said a woman was driving a Honda Pilot northbound on Highway 41, north of Quebec Avenue.

Authorities said she attempted to pass another vehicle by moving into the southbound lane as an oncoming vehicle approached. Unable to complete the pass, she made an unsafe left turn and went off the roadway.

The Honda overturned into a dry canal, and one passenger was killed in the crash.

The driver and another passenger suffered moderate injuries and were taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment.
