DUNCANVILLE, TX (September 6, 2026) – Thursday night, a person died in a brutal wrong-way crash on Highway 67 near Danieldale Road.

The incident happened at about 11:00 p.m. on Highway 67 near Danieldale Road.

Dallas County sheriff’s deputies said a vehicle was traveling north in the southbound lanes when it crashed into another car and clipped several others.

Firefighters pulled one person from the wreckage, but the victim died at the scene.

Deputies detained one person in connection with the crash. The sheriff’s office has not released the victim’s name or provided additional details about the person who was detained. It was not immediately clear if charges would be filed.
