Bakersfield, CA (August 22, 2025) – One person died in a crash on Bucknell Road.

A crash in the California City area claimed at least one life on Friday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). 

The collision occurred around 1:36 p.m. near the intersection of Bucknell Road and Randsburg Road.

CHP officers are currently investigating the incident. As of now, they have not released additional details about the crash.

The Kern County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased once next of kin have been notified.
