1 Dead in Miramar Auto Accident on 15 Freeway and Miramar Way

MIRAMAR, CA (January 6, 2025) – Sunday morning, a person died in a devastating DUI crash on 15 Freeway and Miramar Way.

The incident happened at about 3:32 a.m. on the northbound 15 Freeway, south of Miramar Way.

The crash forced one car onto the shoulder, while the other vehicle, a black car, lost power and came to a stop in the traffic lanes with no lights. While stalled, a motorcyclist collided with the black car and was fatally injured.

A passenger in the white car sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.

The driver of the black car refused a field sobriety test and was arrested at the scene on suspicion of DUI.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
