YUBA CITY, CA (February 28, 2026) – Friday morning, a pedestrian died in a brutal hit-and-run crash on Colusa Avenue and Stafford Way.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Colusa Avenue and Stafford Way.

Authorities reported that a vehicle went off the westbound side of the freeway, landing on top of other cars. At least one person sustained minor injuries.

SoCal Edison responded to the scene to address damaged power lines.
