TULARE COUNTY, CA (September 20, 2026) – Thursday afternoon, a person died in a horrific 3-vehicle crash on Road 152 and Avenue 192.

The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of Road 152 and Avenue 192.

A 51-year-old Farmersville man was killed after a Jeep crashed into his Ford Ranger at an intersection in Tulare County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The man was driving a 1998 Ford Ranger south on Road 152 when he stopped at a stop sign at Avenue 192. A Jeep traveling westbound failed to stop and collided with the driver’s side of the Ford, pushing it into a Toyota Yaris that was also stopped at the intersection, CHP said.

The Ford driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity was not released.

The Jeep driver fled the scene and ran into a nearby orchard, but was later found and taken into custody with help from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, Tulare Police Department, and a drone. CHP identified him as 56-year-old Pedro Martinez of Tulare.
