1 Dead in San Antonio Traffic Crash on Interstate 15

SAN ANTONIO, TX (October 19, 2025) – Saturday, a horrific auto accident on Interstate 35 killed 1 person.

The incident happened on Interstate 35 on the Northeast Side, according to the San Antonio Fire Department.

SAFD said one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was taken to a hospital, but their condition is unknown.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, three southbound lanes remain closed, with only the right lane open as of 4:15 p.m. Drivers are advised to expect delays and use alternate routes if possible.
