CHICO, CA (February 18, 2025) – Sunday night, a person died in a horrific head-on crash on Highway 99 and Garden Brook Drive.

The incident occurred at about 8:30 p.m. on Highway 99, north of Garden Brook Drive.

According to the CHP, one person succumbed to injuries at the scene after two cars collided head-on.

Meanwhile, the crash temporarily shut down a part of Highway 99.
