AUSTIN, TX (March 19, 2025) – Tuesday night, a horrific motorcycle crash on Loop 360 and 1801 S Capital of Texas Highway kills 1.

The incident involving a motorcycle and a vehicle happened at about 5:08 p.m. on Loop 360 at 1801 S. Capital of Texas Highway northbound. 

One person was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) announced on social media that northbound lanes at Loop 360 and Westbank Drive were closed. Drivers should expect delays and consider alternate routes.
