Baker, CA (March 13, 2025) – A person was killed following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 Wednesday night.

The fatal collision happened before 10 p.m. on March 12 north of Kelbaker Road. Officers said a semi-truck pulling an Amazon trailer, a pickup truck, and a passenger car were involved in the collision.

CHP said a driver was traveling south in the highway’s northbound lanes. The wrong-way driver struck a vehicle in the fast lane and then collided with other vehicles.

Sadly, one person was killed at the scene. The authorities withheld the identity of the deceased.
